UK-headquartered oil and gas exploration and production company Trinity Exploration & Production plc has hired
Petrofac to undertake a concept-screening study for the development of further reserves at its block offshore
East Coast Trinidad.

This study will take “a fresh look” at development concepts for the Galeota Block, using the latest subsurface
information and combining it with Petrofac's low-cost marginal field track record to develop a concept that can be
taken forward into conceptual engineering, front end engineering and project sanction.

Following a competitive tender process, Trinity commissioned Petrofac to undertake the study to advance
development planning in a bid to develop multiple reservoirs and to do so in a capital-efficient manner. This study
at Galeota Block, containing estimated 2P+2C reserves and resources of 46.1 million barrels of oil equivalent,
has already started and is expected to conclude in September.

Jeremy Bridglalsingh, Chief Executive Officer of Trinity, commented: “While our immediate operational focus is
on drilling the onshore Jacobin well, we continue to assess plans to unlock the development potential of our
Galeota Block which comprises 69 per cent of our 2P+2C reserves and resources. We look forward to working
with Petrofac to progress the concept-screening study.”

Back in 2013, the drilling of the TGAL-1 exploration well led to the discovery of the TGAL area the Galeota Block,
in close proximity to the existing productive Trintes field. In line with this, the company underlines that key
elements will comprise flexibility to deal with reservoir uncertainty and use equipment that could be potentially
relocated around the large Galeota Block.

In addition, leased MOPU concepts such as converted jack-ups or FPSOs will be considered along with other
suitable schemes. Having paused the Galeota farm-out process in May 2022, Trinity set in motion an in-depth
review of the opportunities across the block, including the existing Trintes-producing field.

This has been done to formulate a revised development plan that offers capital efficiency and shorter
development and payback timelines. Currently, the production in the Galeota Block is generated from the Alpha,
Bravo and Delta platforms in the Trintes field.
